Types of articles accepted for publication Article types cover original qualitative and quantitative work as well as theoretical and conceptual work. The Journal of Intercultural Management and Ethics also promotes insights into the roles of culture and ethics capable to guide both theory and practice. The Journal of Intercultural Management and Ethics is an open access publication.
Publication Ethics All individuals who have made a substantive contribution to the manuscript should be listed as authors. Authorship order should be based on the relative scientific or professional contributions of the authors. The contributors who do not meet the criteria for authorship should be listed in an Acknowledgements section placed at the end of the manuscript prior to References section. Submitted manuscripts should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. However, there are certain circumstances where previously published material can be considered for publication. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and the author has cleared any necessary permission with the copyright owner if it has been previously copyrighted. The authors should accept the unconditioned and complete transfer of the copyright to the Journal of Intercultural Management and Ethics. The authors must take the full responsibility regarding the ethical scientific conduct, including plagiarism. The authors should have conducted their research in line with best practices and codes of conduct of relevant professional bodies and/or national and international regulatory bodies, such as the Committee on Publication Ethics- COPE (http://publicationethics.org).
Submission Guidelines Manuscripts should be submitted in English, typed, single-spaced, 12-point font (Times New Roman), justified, with 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins in Word. The manuscripts should be a minimum of 6 pages and a maximum of 20 pages, A4 size, including references.
The structure of the manuscripts: · Title- 16 pt, all caps, bold; · Authors: 12 pt, first name, surname; titles; affiliation and the contact data; · Abstract: 150-250 words; · Key words: three to six key words; · The main text, including sections/subsections: * Body text is 12 pt; * Section headings are 12 pt, bold; * Subsection headings are 12 pt, bold; * Tables, photos and graphics should be inserted in the manuscript and indicated with arabic numerals (eg., table 1, fig. 1 etc.) both in the text and below the tables/photos/graphics; * Tables, photos and graphics captions are 10 pt; * Footnote text is 10 pt; * Acknowledgements (optional) is 12 pt, italic; * References is 12 pt.
References must be listed at the end of the manuscript, using APA Style (http://guides.lib.monash.edu/ld.php?content_id=12586146).. Review process The Journal of Intercultural Management and Ethics uses double-blind peer review. Therefore, the authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. The authors must submit the Title Page containing the authors’ details and the Blinded Manuscript with no author details as two separate files. |
